this is Kathy from Wesleyan. just wanted to let everyone know that Wesleyan's trustees are going to decide on divestment from Raytheon and General Dynamics TOMORROW!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

we've written a lot over the course of the semester on the companies. we're updating our proposal, and we've got a couple of editorial pieces on depleted uranium munitions, weapons distribution, etc. we're working on getting it on the website at
www.wesleyan.edu/wsa/sewi, so it should be up there soon.
I will post an update about the decision and also about materials on the website.
No matter what happens, we love you all, and let's keep on supporting each other.

I hope that they were successful in getting shut down or at least, to encourage some good discussion on why it's such a terrible thing for universities or institutions in general to get involved with.
