For those planning to attend the East Coast CAN Regional Conference on April 29th and 30th more detailed information is now available. Not all the details for the weekend have been worked out, so please check back often for updates. 

FULL CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

Friday, April 28

Saturday, April 29
10:30-12:00 AM: Assemble at the student contingent. March with the Campus Antiwar Network for College Not Combat & Troops Home Now! Meet on 22nd Street between Broadway and Park Ave, and look for the CAN banners. If you get lost, call 646-320-6880.
After the march, join us for a relaxed student picnic before...
5 PM: "Our Generation Says No!" panel at BMCC.
Followed by a PARTY!

Sunday, April 30
All Sunday events at Teacher's College of Columbia, 120th St and Amsterdam Ave (take the 1 train to 116th St)
9-10 AM: Registration
10-10:30: Welcome from the Campus Antiwar Network: Report on the highlights, successes and challenges of the student movement this year
10:30-11:45: Workshops, ranging from how students have defended their right to free speech at schools around the country, to Will there be an attack on Iran?, to What would happen if the troops left now?, and more
11:45-noon: Workshop reportbacks; order lunch for the conference
12-1: Conference-wide discussion: What is the US plan for Iraq? (...and Iran, and here at home...)
1-2: Conference-wide discussion: What will it take to end the war? What can students do to bring the troops home?
2-3: Proposals, voting, and regional business.
